Job Description
This local mental health service providing specialist mental health and addictions services to a population of 280,000 people is in need of a Psychiatric Registrar. With over 600 staff in the service, you are sure to enjoy a training program that will comfortably be supported by a dedicated team and a wide breadth of knowledge. The region is diverse in many ways, especially in its population who come from many ethnic and cultural groups. The region is also home to both short term residents and those who have lived in the area for generations.
Working as a Psychiatric Registrar here will see you placed in a Psychiatric Registrar Training programme aligned with the RANZCP and working towards Fellowship. In addition to basic training and well co-ordinated academic and pre-examination programmes this placement offers the range of advanced training in all subspecialties. Working within this service means you will also get the opportunity to travel to different locations that are part of the service, see a wide variety of patients and work with a talented team of professionals.
