Job Description
A South West health region in Western Australia is looking for a General Adult Psychiatrist to join their team in offering outstanding mental health care to the region. You will experience a position with plenty of variety and exposure as you travel around the region, working from its many facilities on differing days to help as many people around the region as possible. It is part of ensuring that each person located here can have easy access to a Psychiatrist if needed.
As a General Adult Psychiatrist, you are joining a team who is committed to ensuring that the mental health provision in the region is comprehensive and readily available to those who require it. You will undertake comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients while also assuming clinical responsibility for patients admitted or referred to the service. As an active member of this team, you may be required to partake in overtime and an on call roster.
Located to the south of Perth, you will enjoy what the region has to offer by exploring the bushland, city and water lands. Whether you like to hike, boat or fish, you will certainly be entertained here.
